Our client based in York City Centre is looking for a Benefits Assessor/Administrator to provide assistance to the team. This position is for 1/2 months initially, working full time, 37 hours per week. Hours are 8.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday.

You will contribute towards the provision of an efficient and effective Housing and Council Tax Benefits Service to the citizens of York by accurately and promptly assessing Housing and Council Tax Support claims in accordance with Council policy and legislative requirements. This will require the Post-holder to have the skills and knowledge to maintain ownership of each given claim through to it’s conclusion in the appropriate claims process.
