Viviane, who worked for us as a supply teacher, is involved with The York Settlement Community Players and set to star in The Mai.  The play was written by Marina Carr, a leading and daring Irish playwright, so it fits perfectly with the Irish festivities going on in the city.

The play is running from Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th March 2016 from 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm at the Upstage Theatre, 41 Monkgate, York.

If you fancy coming along then tickets are £12 & £10 for concessions (over 60’s, unwaged and those in full education)

You can book tickets at York Theatre Royal on 01904 623568 or online at

Please note that the play contains Adult content suitable for 16+
